Dr. Kereem Husain

Diplomate, American Board of Pediatric Dentistry

Dr. Kereem Husain is a well-trained Diplomate with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry serving the unique needs of infants, children and adolescents, including those with special needs. Dr. Husain has been extensively trained to treat all aspects involving children’s oral health.

Dr. Husain graduated in 2009 with honors with a degree in Biology and minored in Arabic from the University of California at Los Angeles. Before graduating from UCLA, Dr. Husain spent a year studying abroad in Egypt at the American Language Institute. During his free time he taught English at various orphanages in the area.

Soon after, Dr. Husain attended the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California. He attained the Dean’s Honor Roll numerous semesters during his training and was the Vice President of the Humanitarian Club at USC. Dr. Husain partook in dental brigades in various places, such as, Haiti, Mexico and Honduras. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2013 and continued onward to fulfill his goal of becoming a Pediatric Dental Specialist.

Dr. Husain further developed his knowledge by attaining his certificate of specialty in Pediatric Dentistry at Yale’s New Haven Hospital. Throughout his rigorous training, he was able to treat a plethora of patients while fine-tuning his skill-set and technique in Pediatric Dentistry. Dr. Husain graduated from the Yale program in 2015 and happily joined Children’s Choice Pediatric Dental Care.

Dr. Husain is a proud member of Dental Care for Children, American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, and the USC mobile dental clinic van.
